2, 3 or 6 Week Options Summer Options

Our two week staccato (short) session is offered to our youngest campers as a taste of what camp is like. Staccato campers have the option to extend their stay and complete a three-week session. Our three-week sessions culminate with performance days where campers showcase all that they’ve learned at camp. Session 1 campers often request to extend for the full-season, which is possible if there is space available.  Review the information below and contact us for help choosing the right session for your camper.

About Staccato Sessions

We offer a short “Staccato” session for first-time campers (finishing grades 3 -6) to give camp a try for the first two weeks of each session. This shorter session includes all aspects of the full camp program: lessons, rehearsals, activities—everything.

Staccato session campers take full part in our lower camp program, which is designed to provide a traditional sleep-away camp experience with a strong musical emphasis. In addition to a full range of musical pursuits, lower camp life includes waterfront, sports and general camp activities. Staccato session campers are fully integrated into the life of camp, and receive friendship and mentorship from upper-camp “buddies”.

Our buddy program pairs seniors with lower campers for special buddy activities to help foster a sense of community between our oldest and youngest campers, and allows them all to take advantage of the broad age range we have at camp. Older campers develop leadership skills and a sense of responsibility for the younger campers and younger campers get to forge relationships with our older campers – definitely a win-win for all!
